Job description
Senior Manager Operations at Toverland Amusement park!
As Senior Manager Operations, you will translate Toverland’s growth ambitions into all park-related activities, taking responsibility for all processes, services, and operations within the park’s operational departments. Together with a passionate and ambitious team, you will help develop, implement, and adjust the organization’s multi-year strategy and related initiatives. You act as a key sparring partner for the executive board and play a vital role in ensuring the long-term success of the organization. In this role, you (in)directly manage the departments of Food & Beverage, Retail & Guest Services, and Attractions. You are part of the Senior Management Team and report directly to the Managing Director.
Candidate profile
Based on Toverland’s ambition, mission, vision, and current developments and trends in the market, you will define a (multi-year) strategy for your division. Together with the involved departments, you will set the direction, goals, and approach.
Within the organization’s vision and core values, you will lead your divisions and company-wide developments in an inspiring way. You motivate, develop, and encourage employees at all levels to think and act with a guest-centric mindset and to exceed guest expectations.
Through inspirational leadership, you guide your managers toward a strong balance between key success drivers: guest satisfaction, employee satisfaction, financial performance, and sustainable operations.
You monitor results, identify bottlenecks, anomalies, and root causes of deviations, and ensure policies, procedures, and processes are adjusted accordingly—always aiming to maximize safety, business results, guest satisfaction, and employee engagement.
Based on analysis, data, and personal observations, you maintain clear insight into operational processes, track departmental performance, and proactively make adjustments when needed.
